Cyndy Fiessel - President

Cyndy's interest in the arts started at an early age. She came from a musical and artistic family that encouraged her to explore a variety of creative pursuits.

In her teens she won recognition for her songwriting and performance, in addition she won awards for her ink and water colour creations. Later in life, she was very active in textile arts, pottery, dance, and the healing arts.

 

Cyndy came to recognize she was happiest when she was being creative or helping others create. With that in mind she joined the Kelowna Arts Council Board of Directors in 2020. 

Since then she has been dedicated to working to help build more opportunities for our local artist, to develop and showcase their works, and join with volunteers and members to support the creative arts community here in Kelowna.
