Davina Huey - Vice President
Davina loves creativity, culture, and community. Her father is a first-generation immigrant from Canton, China, and her mother is of Irish and Scottish descent.

In 2017, in partnership with the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society, Davina initiated an Art Studio and Mental Health project with Gail Hodgson for her counselling practicum. They witnessed and supported wonderful art creations that adult and teen clients made to assist in their processing of grief, loss and trauma. She continues to work with Gail’s studio today with her private counselling practice, Tapintolife Counselling.

Davina has published articles in a local Magazine called “Saging” and sings with her family in a local band called October Sky.

Inspired by the benefits of creative expression for wellness and fun, Davina is excited about her involvement with the Kelowna Arts Council.

Her vision is to continue the grassroots work of KAC and support initiatives that connect local musicians, writers and artists to local venues and events in the community.
