Barbara Fresz

Based in Lumby, BC, Barbara is a contemporary mixed media artist specializing in expressive, disrupted realism. Her background in fashion design shapes her love for bold colour and intuitive brushwork. She paints instinctively, capturing the raw energy, emotion, and spirit of Canadian wildlife and the human form to reflect the complexities of our world. As an award-winning, active member of several arts organizations, including the Federation of Canadian Artists, her work is exhibited throughout the Okanagan and collected globally.
